Sardaar Ji 3 gets warm welcome in Pakistan: A casting choice to star Pakistani actor Hania Aamir alongside Diljit Dosanjh ended up getting a huge backlash for the film in India where Pakistani actors are banned. The film chose to forgo its India release and is now receiving an amazing response overseas, especially in Pakistan.

Sardaar Ji 3 opened to packed theatres in Pakistan, earning about $500,000 (Rs 4.27 crore) on its first day.

According to Box Office India, the film earned Rs 11.03 crore globally within two days, with day two collections reaching Rs 6.71 crore.

Despite not releasing in India, Sardaar Ji 3 has been houseful in cinemas across Pakistan, garnering massive success. The film has achieved a record-breaking opening in Pakistan, surpassing previous records set by Bollywood hit Sultan.

On a global scale, Sardaar Ji 3 ranks as the third-best opening day for a Punjabi film, after Jatt & Juliet 3 and Carry On Jatta.

After facing backlash for sharing screen space with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, Diljit Dosanjh supported the decision to release the film overseas only.
