A 50-year-old Singaporean woman, Julia Nicole Moss, has been charged with keeping at least 79 dogs in a house without a licence and failing to microchip them. She faces a total of 82 charges related to owning animals, most of which are for not licensing miniature poodles. Moss allegedly kept the dogs at a property along Wak Hassan Drive, exceeding the limit of three dogs for private premises. She also failed to microchip the animals as directed by the Director-General of Animal Health and Welfare. Additionally, she did not inform the Director-General when she moved the dogs to another location. The case has been adjourned for Moss to engage counsel, and she will return to court in August.
If found guilty, Moss could face fines for keeping more than three dogs, failing to microchip them, owning unlicensed dogs, and not informing the authorities about the dogs' relocation.
