Mediacorp and TaiwanPlus Collaborate on Double Yummy Food Travelogue Series

Mediacorp has partnered with Taiwanese international media platform TaiwanPlus to launch an English-language infotainment programme that combines food and travel. Titled Double Yummy, the new food travelogue will be hosted by Mediacorp Class 95 presenter Yasminne Cheng and Taiwanese actor Andrew Chau. The series spans six episodes, taking viewers on a culinary journey exploring the food cultures of Singapore and Taiwan. It showcases how food acts as a connection between generations, communities, and geographies.

Each episode focuses on a beloved ingredient such as chicken, beef, fish, crab, pork, and noodles. Renowned chefs from both countries will showcase their culinary skills by reinterpreting the featured dish in each episode. Virginia Lim, Chief Content Officer at Mediacorp, highlighted the aim of connecting people through the universal language of food and entertainment with this collaboration.

Double Yummy has completed filming in Taiwan and will start production in Singapore in July 2025. The series is expected to air on Mediacorp and TaiwanPlus platforms in 2026.
