Sindh Culture Department Offers to Arrange Burial for Late Actor Humaira Asghar Ali

The Sindh culture department has offered to take care of the burial and funeral of the late actor Humaira Asghar Ali if her family does not come forward. Ali, a 32-year-old actor and model, was found dead in her Karachi apartment. Her family, based in Lahore, refused to claim her body for burial when approached by the police.

After her family's refusal, members of the entertainment industry expressed willingness to arrange the burial. Actors Yashma Gill and Sonya Hussayn are among those who offered to help. The Sindh culture department, in a notification, expressed its willingness to handle the burial arrangements due to the lack of cooperation from Ali's legal heirs.

Culture Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah stated that the department is ready to take responsibility for the burial with respect and dignity, considering Ali's contributions to the arts and culture of the country. The department requested that Ali's body be handed over for burial after completing the necessary formalities.
