San Francisco Giants Beat Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 with Inside-the-Park Home Run

Patrick Bailey hit a three-run, inside-the-park home run in the ninth inning, giving the San Francisco Giants a 4-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. Mike Yastrzemski contributed to the win with two base reaches and a run scored. The rally started with a leadoff double by Casey Schmitt, followed by a single from Wilmer Flores. Bailey then hit a home run off Jordan Roman to secure the win. Ryan Walker earned the win by retiring a batter with two on base in the ninth inning. Kyle Schwarber of the Phillies hit his 28th home run of the season. Ray pitched well for the Giants, allowing only one run. Bailey also made a defensive play by throwing out Schwarber attempting to steal third base. The Giants will have Justin Verlander on the mound in the series finale against Jesus Luzardo of the Phillies.
