Parag and Shefali met at a mutual friend's dinner party, eventually marrying in 2014 after dating for four years. They showcased their chemistry on the dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 5.
Shefali was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital on Friday night but was declared dead upon arrival. While initial reports suggest cardiac arrest as the cause, Mumbai Police are investigating, with a post-mortem at Cooper Hospital underway.
