The Searchers Perform Farewell Show at Glastonbury Festival 2025

The Searchers appeared on the Worthy Farm's Acoustic Stage on June 27, performing their classics, including 'Needles and Pins' with over 40.3 million streams on Spotify.

Much to the disappointment of fans, their set was not broadcast on the BBC or iPlayer.

The Searchers, formed in 1957, have been playing for 68 years with line-up changes. They had their first UK number one in 1963 and have sold over 50 million records worldwide.

Before their final performance at Glastonbury, band member John McNally expressed excitement, saying, 'A Glastonbury debut at 83, can anyone top that?'

Bassist Frank Allen, who joined in 1964, shared his anticipation, 'The Searchers are finally performing at the greatest music festival of them all.'
