Nvidia's RTX 5070 Leads Amazon Sales with 70% Market Share

Nvidia’s latest generation of GPUs have started to gain popularity in the mainstream consumer market. Recent data from Amazon US reveals that the RTX 50 series cards are currently the best-selling GPUs as of June.

The RTX 50 series GPUs have entered the Steam Hardware Survey in June. While the RTX 40 series and RTX 30 series cards still dominate the popular list, the latest generation GPUs have become the top choice on Amazon. The top three spots are held by the RTX 50 series GPUs, with the Radeon RX 9000 series flagship following closely behind.

According to data shared by TechEpiphany on X, the RTX 5070 leads the sales chart with 5,450 units sold, followed by the RTX 5060 Ti with 4,950 units and the RTX 5070 Ti with 4,400 units. Nvidia commands 70.51% of the market share by units sold and 78.61% revenue share. The RTX 5070 was released in March, the RTX 5070 Ti in February, and the RTX 5060 Ti in April.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT takes the fourth spot with 4,100 units sold. Recent reports indicate a drop in demand for this GPU, leading to a price reduction closer to its MSRP of $600. This price adjustment may boost sales for the RX 9070 XT, especially since it outperforms the RTX 5070 Ti at 1440p. The RX 9070 lags behind with only 850 units sold. AMD holds 27.57% of the market share in units sold and 20.49% in revenue share.

Intel's most popular Arc card is the Arc B580 with 400 units sold, followed by the Arc A380 with 350 units. Although Intel lags behind the competition according to Amazon's data, they are planning to release more Arc Battlemage GPUs that promise higher performance than the current Arc B580.

It's important to note that this data is specific to one retailer and may not reflect the overall market scenario. However, the Steam Hardware Survey also indicates Nvidia's dominance in consumer GPUs.
