36 Injured in Amarnath Yatra Bus Collision in J&K's Ramban
A total of 36 pilgrims were injured when buses collided during the Amarnath Yatra near the Chanderkote langar site in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district. The incident occurred as the last vehicle of the Pahalgam convoy lost control and hit stranded vehicles. The injured were promptly taken to District Hospital Ramban for medical treatment.

36 pilgrims were injured in an accident near the Chanderkote langar site in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra. The incident involved the last vehicle of the Pahalgam convoy losing control and hitting stranded vehicles, resulting in minor injuries to 36 pilgrims. The injured were promptly shifted to the District Hospital Ramban for medical care. The Yatris were later transferred to other vehicles for their journey.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh confirmed that the injured pilgrims are receiving medical treatment and reassured that there is no cause for concern. The Amarnath Yatra, which began on July 3, will run until August 9, attracting devotees from different parts of the country.
Another group of pilgrims left Jammu for Kashmir under tight security measures, continuing the pilgrimage that started on July 3. The Yatris can choose between the traditional Pahalgam route or the shorter Baltal route to reach the holy cave shrine located at an altitude of 3,888 meters in the Kashmir Himalayas.
