Saramonic announced the Air, a new dual-channel, 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system designed for content creators. The Air features noise cancellation, real-time monitoring, and adjustable EQ tuning in a compact package.
The goal is to provide high-quality audio capture in various environments. The mics offer intelligent noise cancellation, a 6mm diaphragm, and a front-facing pickup to minimize plosives.
Additionally, the mics have a built-in limiter and a safety track for audio fidelity. The receiver has a full-color display for easy control, and the transmitter is lightweight and discreet.
The design is described as retro-futuristic with metal shells. The mics are portable, mountable on cameras, and come with a charger case.
The Air supports multiple outputs and simultaneous recording on two devices. It powers on/off with the camera and can trigger phone recording with a tap.
The Saramonic Air is available in two versions starting June 24, priced between $139 and $169.
