Inside Look at Rogers Stadium: A 50,000-Person Concert Venue Built in Nine Months

When the K-Pop band Stray Kids performs at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on Sunday, it will mark the opening of the 50,000-person concert venue built in under a year. Construction workers are putting the finishing touches as Live Nation Canada prepares for the concert.

The stadium, located at the former Downsview Airport, will host 14 concerts this summer, featuring artists like Coldplay and Blackpink. The temporary structure is part of a partnership with Northcrest Developments to utilize the site for at least five years.

The stadium will accommodate up to 50,000 attendees with custom stages for artists and various amenities. Parking and traffic arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth experience for concert-goers.
