Financial and Health Support Provided to 31 Filipino Repatriates from Conflict-Ridden Middle East
Aid including cash, health assessments, and transport assistance was given to 31 Filipinos brought back from conflict zones in the Middle East. The repatriates received financial support, health services, and airport assistance upon their safe return to the Philippines.

A package of assistance awaits the 31 Filipinos brought home safely from the war-hit Middle East. They received P150,000 each in immediate financial support from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Office of Workers' Welfare Administration (OWWA). Airport assistance included temporary shelter or transportation to their provinces.
The Department of Health (DOH), in coordination with the DMW, provided physical and mental assessment services to address potential trauma and stress experienced by the repatriates. Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac expressed gratitude to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for coordinating the repatriation, along with other entities involved.
26 OFWs from Israel, three from Jordan, and one each from Palestine and Qatar arrived home from Doha, Qatar through Qatar Airways Flight QR 934. Their flight was delayed due to airspace restrictions but they safely landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
