The launch is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, and will be hosted in New York City. Viewers in India can tune in to the live stream at 7:30 PM IST via Samsung’s official YouTube channel. This year, the South Korean tech giant is expected to introduce significant upgrades to its foldable series, including a sleeker, ultra-thin design, enhanced performance capabilities, and the integration of advanced Galaxy AI functionalities. A new report has surfaced suggesting the potential pricing for Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices in Europe. According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are expected to debut at a higher price point compared to their previous-generation models.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 price:
In Italy, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to carry a price tag of EUR 2,227.71 (approximately Rs. 2,23,000) for the 256GB version, while the 512GB model may be listed at EUR 2,309.03 (around Rs. 2,31,100). On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to be priced at EUR 1,425.51 (close to Rs. 1,43,000) for the 512GB variant.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 specifications:
Rumors suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will boast a larger 8-inch internal display, a step up from the 7.6-inch panel on the Fold 6, along with an expanded 6.5-inch outer screen. Both displays are expected to be AMOLED with a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Powering the device could be a specially optimized version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, tailored for Samsung’s software ecosystem.
On the photography front, the Fold 7 is tipped to receive a significant camera upgrade, headlined by a massive 200MP main sensor—similar to the one found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra—alongside a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto shooter. While the external selfie camera may remain at 10MP, reports indicate that Samsung may ditch the under-display camera (UDC) on the inner screen in favor of a punch-hole design, aimed at delivering sharper selfies.
The Fold 7 is expected to launch with Android 16 layered with One UI 8, and it will deeply integrate Galaxy AI tools optimized specifically for foldable usage. Although the battery capacity is expected to stay at 4,400mAh, improvements in power efficiency are likely to come from the new Snapdragon chip.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 specifications:
Leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will showcase a nearly bezel-less external display, drawing comparisons to the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. The rear dual-camera setup is expected to be seamlessly integrated into the OLED cover screen via a dual punch-hole design, paired with an LED flash for enhanced lighting. Rumored color choices include striking finishes like Blue Shadow, Coral Red, and Jet Black.
The primary foldable screen is likely to measure 6.8 inches and support a variable 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Under the hood, the device may be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor or Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chip, both engineered to deliver robust performance. It is expected to offer 12GB of RAM with internal storage configurations of 256GB and 512GB.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Z Flip 7 is tipped to feature a powerful dual 50MP rear lens system, while the front-facing camera could be a 12MP shooter. The phone is rumored to house a 4,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It will run Android 16 layered with One UI 8 and take full advantage of Samsung’s Galaxy AI features, optimized for foldable experiences.
