President Marcos: Middle East tensions have minimal impact on Philippine economy

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stated that the impact of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East on the Philippine economy is manageable. This statement came after a meeting with his economic team to evaluate the effects of the conflict between Iran and Israel.

During the assessment, Marcos mentioned that the economy should not be significantly affected by the situation. He made these remarks following the disposal of P9.48 billion worth of seized illegal drugs at the Clean Leaf International Corporation in Capas, Tarlac.

According to Marcos, there have been no noticeable effects on the economy so far, with the main concern being price gouging.
