President Marcos Jr. Leads 'Bloodless' War Against Drug Trade

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stated that his administration is actively combating the drug trade at various levels, resulting in the seizure of P62 billion worth of shabu in the past three years. During a visit to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) National Headquarters, over P8.87 billion worth of 'floating shabu' was inspected, recovered from different areas.

In his remarks, Marcos emphasized the importance of the ongoing efforts against the drug trade, highlighting the success seen so far. He directed law enforcement agencies to maintain a peaceful approach in the fight against illegal drugs, focusing on prevention, rehabilitation, and maintaining a strong police presence.

Describing the strategy as a 'bloodless war on drugs,' Marcos stressed the importance of handling the drug problem differently without resorting to violence or extrajudicial measures.
