Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Dublin Hit-and-Run Incident
A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident on Railway Street, Balbriggan, Dublin, shortly after 9pm. Gardaí and emergency services are on the scene. The vehicle involved did not stop after hitting the pedestrian. Investigation ongoing with traffic diversions in place.

A pedestrian has been seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Dublin. Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on Railway Street, Balbriggan, which occurred shortly after 9pm this evening.
The alarm was raised after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle which failed to remain at the scene,” a garda spokesperson said. The area is preserved for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local traffic diversions are in place. No additional information is currently available.
