Obituary: Jimmy Joe Staunton Passes Away Peacefully at Home

Breaffy Road, Castlebar and formerly of Castlecarra, Clogher, Claremorris (23rd June) – peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving, heartbroken family.

Predeceased by his parent’s James and Mary, brother Walter and the deceased members of the Staunton and Philbin family.

Jimmy Joe will be deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret (née Philbin), his sons Kenneth and Kieran, daughter Sandra, daughters-in-law Linda and Sandra, son-in-law Damien and his adored grandchildren Roisín, Cathal, Ruby and Michael.

He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Michael, Colm, Martin and Tom, sisters, Bridie, Mary and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends and neighbours old and new.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Jimmy Joe will repose at the home of his son Kieran and daughter-in-law Sandra in Ballintubber, Claremorris (F12 X4X2) on Wednesday, 25th June from 5pm until 7pm.

House strictly private please at all other times.

Funeral will arrive at Ballintubber Abbey on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
