Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder: Sonam and Raj Confess to Secret Relationship and Killing Raja
Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha, accused in the Meghalaya honeymoon murder case, have admitted to being in a relationship and killing Sonam's husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon trip. The police have gathered evidence and rejected the need for a narco test. Eight individuals, including Sonam and Raj, have been arrested in connection with the murder.

Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha, accused in the Meghalaya honeymoon murder case, have admitted to being in a relationship, according to Meghalaya Police. They also confessed to killing Sonam's husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, while the couple was on their honeymoon in Meghalaya. Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem stated that both Sonam and Raj recreated the crime scene for the police and have already confessed to the crime. Rejecting the demand for a narco test, Syiem explained that it is usually done when there is no evidence, and it is banned by the Supreme Court. Sonam and Raj have been sent to 13 days of judicial custody by a court in Shillong. In total, 8 individuals, including Sonam, have been arrested in connection with Raja's murder.
