Geelong Cats Fan Wins Brand New Ford Everest in 2025 Hoops Raffle

Leslie Ridgeway is now the owner of a brand new Ford Everest after winning the major prize in the 2025 Hoops Raffle. Geelong Cats supporter, Leslie Ridgeway is now the proud owner of a brand new 2025 Ford Everest, thanks to Ford, after winning the major prize in the 2025 Hoops Raffle. A proud Geelong fan, Leslie drove away in her brand new car after taking out the raffle’s top prize. Leslie admitted that she had almost forgotten about the raffle, buying the tickets to help support that club that she loves.

\"It is great, very exciting,\" Leslie told Cats Media. \"The talk with everyone has been about this new car. I had forgotten about the raffle, I bought tickets but you buy tickets just to support the club. It was out of the blue but it was really nice.\"

When asked what the is the first thing she will do with the car, the answer was simple. \"Drive it,\" Leslie said with a smile. \"It will take ages learning all the bits and pieces, all the gadgets, all the technology. I will try not to take too long but just getting to know the car will be so much fun.\"

Over 8,000 tickets were sold in the 2025 Hoops Raffle, with a total prize pool of $77,157. Other prizes included AFL and AFLW Team signed Guernsey’s, 1859 Memberships and Geelong Football Club Events Packages, with all prize winners notified. The Geelong Football Club congratulates Leslie and extends a big thank you to everyone who purchased tickets.
