The Florida Panthers and pending unrestricted free agent forward Brad Marchand have agreed to a six-year contract, as reported by TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun. The deal includes a front-loaded structure with $1 million in base salary per season and the remainder in signing bonus, resulting in an average annual value (AAV) of $5.25 million.

Marchand, 37, will have a no-move clause for the first four seasons and partial no-trade protection for the final two seasons. He joined the Panthers last season after being traded by the Boston Bruins, contributing 23 goals and 51 points in 71 games between the two teams.
