Duke Frasco refutes rumors about running for House Speakership
House Deputy Speaker Duke Frasco has denied speculations that he is vying for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives currently held by Martin Romualdez. Frasco clarified that he has not made any decision to pursue the role in the upcoming Congress and expressed support for other potential candidates. He emphasized the importance of unity in the House for the benefit of the Filipino people and reaffirmed his commitment to the Marcos administration.

According to Frasco, he has not made any decision or offered himself for the position in the 20th Congress despite recent speculations.
Previously removed from the National Unity Party (NUP) for not supporting Romualdez, Frasco mentioned his support for another candidate to ensure unity and progress in the House.
If the Speaker election were today, Frasco stated his backing for either Congressman Toby Tiangco of Navotas or Albee Benitez of Negros Occidental.
While emphasizing his loyalty to the Marcos administration and its goals, Frasco affirmed his commitment to the President's vision.
