Two people have been arrested in connection with the alleged false imprisonment of a woman in Co Kildare last night. The incident took place in Castletown, Celbridge, at approximately 10:10 pm. A man and a woman, both in their 30s, were apprehended in Tallaght, Dublin, about 90 minutes after the incident was reported to the police. The area in Castletown has been cordoned off for a forensic investigation.
