A fire has broken out at a West Midlands Jaguar Land Rover site. CoventryLive understands smoke from the blaze at the Castle Vale premises on Chester Road is currently filling the skies around the area.
One driver passing the site who managed to capture images has said smoke can be seen for miles around the blaze.
\"There was a load of smoke coming from the building, going right up into the sky,\" they told CoventryLive. \"I noticed it from miles away and then as I got closer realised it was the JLR building.\"
The nature and extent of the fire is still not known at this early stage. As this is a live incident, we will be keeping you posted with what is happening as it develops and as and when we are told.
We have approached Jaguar Land Rover's press team for a comment. We have also approached West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Police.
There are no indication of injuries at this point, but we have also approached West Midlands Ambulance Service for confirmation.
