Ceasefire holds in Israel-Iran conflict as IAEA director expresses concern over missing enriched uranium

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi revealed that nearly 900 pounds of potentially enriched uranium in Iran cannot be located following U.S. military strikes. Iranian officials claimed the uranium was being moved for protection before the strikes on nuclear facilities.

Grossi shared this information during an interview on Fox News’ “The Story with Martha MacCallum.” The U.S. military conducted precise strikes on three key nuclear sites in Iran over the weekend, causing significant damage to facilities in Natanz and Isfahan.

When asked about the missing uranium, Grossi stated that the IAEA does not have information on its whereabouts. He emphasized the need for inspection activities to resume promptly to address this uncertainty.
