The London-bound Air India flight crashed in Ahmedabad shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on June 12, resulting in 270 casualties, with one survivor. The black box of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was recovered on June 13.
A black box records flight data and aids in aviation accident investigations. Naidu confirmed that the black box is in India and under investigation by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau.
