Balochistan Chief Minister Urges Correction of Misleading Narrative
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti calls for a balanced and accurate perspective on the province's history and current situation. He condemns terrorist attacks and emphasizes the need for a factual understanding of the region's challenges.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has highlighted the need to correct the narrative about the province at national and international levels to ensure accuracy and balance.
He called on human rights organizations to understand Balochistan's history and current situation based on facts.
During a meeting with a delegation from the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Chief Minister Bugti discussed law and order, human rights issues, and social development initiatives in the province.
Bugti clarified that the accession of the State of Kalat to Pakistan was a mutual agreement, not coercion, and criticized the distortion of historical facts by certain groups.
He strongly condemned recent terrorist incidents, attributing them to hostile foreign powers and emphasizing that such acts aim to destabilize Pakistan.
Bugti questioned the legitimacy of violent actions that target individuals based on their identity, stating that they do not represent a genuine struggle for rights.
He reaffirmed the state's responsibility to protect its citizens and condemned those who advocate for the division of Pakistan.
In a separate incident, terrorists abducted and killed nine passengers in Balochistan, with government officials attributing the attack to India-funded terrorist groups.
Regarding missing persons, Bugti acknowledged the issue's seriousness but noted that it is not unique to Balochistan, highlighting the need for solid evidence before blaming state institutions.
