JUI-F Leader Fazlur Rehman Urges Political Change in K-P Within PTI Ranks
JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman has called for a political shift in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, suggesting that the change should come from within the ruling PTI party. He emphasized the need for internal restructuring to ensure political stability and criticized the current government's mandate as lacking genuine public support.

Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called for political change in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), suggesting that the shift should come from within the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) ranks, which currently dominate the provincial assembly.
Speaking at a press conference in Peshawar, the JUI-F leader emphasized the need for change, whether internal or external, to address the current situation. He stressed that any restructuring within PTI would be a better path to political stability.
Regarding the upcoming Senate elections, Fazl mentioned ongoing consultations with other parties but refrained from further comments. He distanced himself from the federal government, citing disagreements with its decisions.
Expressing concern over the deteriorating law and order in K-P, Fazl urged for a united effort to address the security crisis. He also criticized the merger of FATA into K-P, calling it a mistake that should be rectified in the national interest.
On provincial spending, Fazl criticized what he viewed as wasteful expenditures by the K-P government. He reiterated his party's commitment to democratic principles and emphasized the importance of people's support over power granted through undemocratic means.
