Van Catches Fire Outside King's Cross Station in London
A van caught fire outside King's Cross station this morning, leading to disruptions for commuters. Emergency services responded to the incident on Euston Road between King's Cross and St Pancras. While bus detours are in place, train services remain unaffected. The van was completely destroyed in the blaze, which is being treated as accidental.

A van outside King's Cross station burst into flames this morning, causing disruption for commuters.
Emergency services attended the scene on Euston Road between King's Cross and adjacent St Pancras.
While bus detours are currently in place, there are no rail disruptions from either station. London North Eastern Railway confirmed that one entrance to the station has been closed in response to the incident.
A spokesman said: \"Due to reports of a fire on the road between London Kings Cross and London St Pancras, the West entrance to Kings Cross Station has been temporarily closed.\" A London Fire Brigade spokesman told GB News: \"We were called to one van alight outside St Pancras train station on Midland Road. We were called at 1017 and the incident was under control by 11.01am. The van was completely destroyed by the blaze.
\"Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Kentish Town fire station were at the scene. Our 999 Brigade Control officers received eight calls alerting them to the fire.\" Bus routes 46, and 214 are currently being diverted around Pancras Road. It is understood the fire is being treated as accidental.
