Two Foreigners Sentenced to 15 Months in Jail for Burglary in Buona Vista and Holland Areas
Two foreign men, Feng Yunlong and Zhang Yongxiang, have each been sentenced to 15 months in jail for breaking into landed properties in Buona Vista and Holland. Feng Yunlong and Zhang Yongxiang each admitted to one count of housebreaking and theft on June 24. They have been sentenced to 15 months’ jail for breaking into landed properties in Buona Vista and Holland areas. They were arrested on Dec 18, 2024, after reports of housebreaking and theft at two properties. Feng and Zhang came to Singapore on Dec 13 on social visit passes. Zhang entered the houses while Feng acted as a lookout. Zhang stole watches valued at $8,800 and $150. They were identified through security camera footage. Both pleaded for early release due to family reasons. They could have faced up to 10 years in jail and a fine.
