He will join a talented back five that includes players like Herbie Farnworth, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Jamayne Isaako, Jake Averillo, and Jack Bostock, led by halves Kodi Nikorima and Isaiya Katoa.
Dolphins' CEO Terry Reader expressed excitement about Cobbo's potential, citing his accomplishments in Origin and NRL. Cobbo, who has played for Queensland and the Broncos, will bring experience and skill to the team. He will start training with the Dolphins in November for the 2026 season.
