Sean 'Diddy' Combs Chooses Not to Testify as Trial Ends

Prosecutors and defence lawyers have rested their cases in the sex-trafficking trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, after more than six weeks of testimony against the hip-hop mogul.

The trial heard from over 30 witnesses, including Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, former employees of his company Bad Boy Entertainment, male escorts, law enforcement officers, and hotel staff.

Combs chose not to testify, thanking the judge for his work and confirming his decision.

After the prosecution rested, the defence team moved for Combs' acquittal, presenting evidence to show consensual relationships and denying the sex trafficking charges.

Combs faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, pleading not guilty to all charges.

Defence lawyers argue that Combs' lifestyle was consensual and not illegal, despite conceding his past violence.

The trial continues with closing statements on Thursday.
