Adiong emphasized that popularity does not excuse serious allegations or shield someone from investigation. The Vice President is facing seven articles of impeachment, including conspiracy, malversation of funds, bribery, unexplained wealth, involvement in killings, destabilization, and overall conduct as Vice President.
Adiong stressed that these are not political games but matters of public concern. He warned against using victimhood and disinformation to weaken democratic institutions, stating that impeachment is necessary when the law is violated, regardless of one's popularity or position.
