PAGASA Keeps Watch on Tropical Depression Near Philippines
The Philippine weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a tropical depression located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The cyclone, with maximum winds of 45 km/h, is currently west of Bacnotan, La Union. Expect rainy conditions in some areas due to the Southwest Monsoon.

State weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The cyclone was located 555 kilometers west of Bacnotan, La Union, with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h and gustiness of up to 55 km/h.
The Southwest Monsoon will affect the western section of Southern Luzon, causing rains. Zambales, Bataan, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
