Headlined by the industry’s most bankable and beloved celebrities, this year’s celebration of commercial success and entertainment excellence is set to air on 13 July 2025 at 10:30 PM via Kapamilya Channel and iWantTFC.

The event takes place at the CPR Auditorium, RCBC Building, Ayala Avenue, Makati City. The prestigious awards night is expected to draw the biggest names in showbiz, culminating in historic wins for some of the industry’s most iconic and emerging figures.

Box-Office royalty reigns supreme

Alden Richards wins Phenomenal Box-Office King of Philippine Cinema, a fitting recognition for a leading man whose charisma and consistency continue to translate into blockbuster success. Mirroring his triumph was Kathryn Bernardo, hailed as the Phenomenal Box-Office Queen, solidifying her reign as one of the generation’s most powerful actresses at the box office.

Piolo Pascual and Vic Sotto shared the title of Film Actors of the Year, a rare and powerful pairing that celebrates both dramatic excellence and comedic mastery. Marian Rivera was named Film Actress of the Year, marking her triumphant return to the big screen with a performance that resonated with both critics and audiences.

Television titans and new generation gems

In the television arena, Jericho Rosales and Jodi Sta. Maria were awarded Primetime TV Drama Actor and Actress of the Year, respectively, while Richard Yap and Jillian Ward received similar accolades in the daytime drama category.

The night also spotlights the next wave of stars: Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano as Prince and Princess of Philippine Entertainment, while siblings Andres and Atasha Muhlach were named Most Promising Male and Female Stars, signifying a new era of talent and legacy.

Music, variety, and love teams that moved the nation

OPM icons Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez are Concert Performers of the Year, with breakout pop group BINI scoring a double win for Concert of the Year and Recording/Streaming/Concert Performing Group of the Year. TJ Monterde was recognized as Recording/Streaming Artist of the Year.

The audience’s hearts continue to be captured by love teams, with Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino winning Most Popular Love Team, while Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings were tagged as Most Promising. The inimitable Raphael Landicho was lauded as Most Popular Child Performer.

Celebrating creativity

The creative minds behind some of the year’s biggest hits were also recognized: ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Pictures shared the award for Most Popular Film Producer, while Cathy Garcia-Sampana was honored as Most Popular Film Director. The triumvirate of Carmi Raymundo, Crystal Hazel San Miguel, and Olive Lamasan shared the Most Popular Screenwriter award.

For collective brilliance, Hello, Love, Again won Best Ensemble Acting for Movies, while Lavander Fields was recognized on television.

Special honors were given to industry veterans for their outstanding contributions. Jimmy Santos, Tirso Cruz III, and Homer Flores received lifetime achievement awards named after Bert Marcelo, Corazon Samaniego, and George Canseco, respectively.

In a heartfelt moment, posthumous recognition was given to entertainment legends Nora Aunor, Gloria Romero, Pilita Corrales, Hajji Alejandro, and Ricky Davao—icons whose legacies continue to inspire generations.

The awards also spotlighted excellence beyond entertainment. Mayor Vico Sotto received the Outstanding Government Service Award, Rhea Anecoche-Tan was named Outstanding Businesswoman, and Virginia Rodriguez and Rodel Fernando were honored as Outstanding Philanthropists of the Year.
