Owner of Indore flat where Sonam stayed after fleeing Meghalaya arrested in connection with honeymoon murder case
The owner of a flat in Indore, where Sonam Raghuvanshi stayed after fleeing Meghalaya following the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, has been detained in Gwalior. Police revealed that a total of eight people, including Sonam, have been arrested for the alleged murder. Recent arrests include property dealer Shailam James and security guard Balwinder Ahirwar, who were found burning incriminating items recovered from the flat.

Recently, property dealer Shailam James and security guard Balwinder Ahirwar were arrested for burning a bag containing incriminating items recovered from the flat owned by Tomar. James revealed Tomar's instructions to destroy the bag, supported by chats and call recordings between them.
Forensic analysis of the ashes from the burnt bag did not confirm the presence of currency, a pistol, and a gold chain. In total, eight individuals, including Sonam, her alleged boyfriend Raj Kushwaha, and three hitmen, have been arrested in connection with the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi.
Raja was killed by three men during his honeymoon trip in Sohra on May 23. Sonam surrendered on June 8, while four other suspects were apprehended in different locations in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
