Erin Patterson was found guilty of poisoning her mother-in-law, father-in-law, and sister-in-law with Beef Wellington containing death cap mushrooms. She was also convicted of attempting to murder her sister-in-law's husband. Patterson had pleaded not guilty, claiming the deaths were accidental. She faces a maximum life sentence and can appeal the verdict.

The sentencing will take place at a later date. The defense lawyer and family members of the victims declined to comment. The detective in charge of the case thanked the investigators for their work.
