Gopal Khemka Murder: Accused Arrested at Industrialist's Funeral, Six Others Held
One of the accused in the murder of Gopal Khemka in Bihar was apprehended at the industrialist's funeral, along with six other suspects. The Special Task Force (STF) made the arrests, bringing the total number of detained individuals to seven. Prior to the crime, three perpetrators were seen gathering at a tea stall in Patna. The main suspect had a history of being involved in a previous murder case. The incident has raised security concerns among the business community in Bihar.

One of the accused in the murder of Gopal Khemka in Bihar was arrested at the industrialist's funeral while carrying a garland. The other six accused were also apprehended by the STF (Special Task Force).
According to sources, a total of seven individuals have been taken into custody by the STF, and the investigation is ongoing.
It was revealed that three perpetrators had gathered near a tea stall in the Daldali area of Patna before the crime took place. After having tea, one of them proceeded to Khemka's residence.
The main accused had previously been evading arrest in a case involving the murder of an auto driver in Patna, as per sources.
Gopal Khemka, associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party, was fatally shot by an unidentified assailant outside his home in Gandhi Maidan locality at 11:40 pm on July 4. His last rites were performed at Gulbi Ghat in Patna on July 6, with a significant number of businesspeople and industrialists in attendance.
Following the incident, a CCTV footage emerged showing the moment of the shooting. The Bihar government has assured that security concerns raised by businessmen in the state will be addressed.
Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena stated that appropriate security measures will be provided to the business community, including the issuance of arms licenses upon request.
The Bihar Industries Association and Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industries have expressed serious concerns about the law and order situation in the state and have engaged with government officials to address security issues for businessmen and industrialists.
Industrialist Ajay Singh highlighted the lack of a redressal system for complaints and urged the authorities to take necessary steps to enhance the security situation in the state.
