Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, known as Saudi Arabia's 'Sleeping Prince,' has passed away at the age of 36. He suffered a brain haemorrhage in 2005 following a car accident while studying at a military college in London.

His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, confirmed the sad news on social media, expressing deep sorrow and sadness over the loss of his son. Despite efforts from specialists around the world, Prince Al-Waleed remained in a coma and never recovered consciousness.

Throughout his time in a coma, Prince Al-Waleed was under constant medical supervision and his father was actively involved in his care, advocating against withdrawing life support. Despite some minor physical responses that raised hopes for his recovery, the Prince remained in critical condition until his passing.
