Pakistan and Bangladesh to clash in T20 series with new-look teams
Pakistan's new-look team led by captain Salman Agha is set to face Bangladesh in a T20 series in Dhaka. With key players missing due to rest and injuries, both teams are gearing up for the challenge. Bangladesh, fresh from a series win in Sri Lanka, is ready to take on the new challenge.

Pakistan captain Salman Agha is confident about his team's preparation for the upcoming World Cup as they face Bangladesh in a T20 series in Dhaka starting Sunday. Agha has been leading the team in the absence of key players like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Missing players like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Wasim could still be considered for the T20 World Cup next year. Agha expressed confidence in the team's new playing style and direction, emphasizing the importance of adequate preparation for the series against Bangladesh.
New coach Mike Hesson led Pakistan to a 3-0 series win against Bangladesh last month. With Shadab Khan injured, Pakistan has included uncapped bowlers Salman Mirza and Ahmed Daniyal in the squad. Bangladesh, fresh from a T20 series win in Sri Lanka, is prepared to face the challenge posed by Pakistan in their home conditions. Captain Litton Das highlighted the team's readiness to perform well and not rely solely on home advantage.
The series consists of three matches, with the second and third games scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday in Dhaka.
