Key Issues Raised in All-Party Meeting Ahead of Parliament Monsoon Session

An all-party meeting convened by the government ahead of the Monsoon session of Parliament is underway in New Delhi on Sunday (July 20, 2025) where the opposition is likely to discuss various issues, including the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar and the Pahalgam terror attack.

Congress’s Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi emphasized the importance of addressing issues such as the Pahalgam conflict and border tensions. He also highlighted the need to protect citizens' voting rights and raised concerns about the electoral revision in Bihar.

After the meeting, AAP MP Sanjay Singh called for clarification from the government regarding U.S. President Donald Trump's statements on brokering a ceasefire. He also raised issues such as slum demolitions in Delhi and electoral scams in Bihar.

Leaders from various political parties, including Congress, NCP, DMK, and RPI (A), attended the meeting, with government representatives emphasizing the need for constructive dialogue.
