Air India Express flight to Phuket returns to Hyderabad shortly after takeoff

An Air India Express flight IX110, en route to Phuket from Hyderabad, made an unexpected return to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport shortly after its takeoff on Tuesday morning. The Boeing 737 Max 8, operating as flight IX110, departed around 6:40 AM, a bit delayed from its scheduled time.

Flight IX110, operated on a Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, took off from Hyderabad at 6:40 AM, slightly behind schedule. The flight was supposed to land in Phuket at 11:45 AM. The reason for the return was not immediately disclosed.

Earlier this week, an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Imphal had to return mid-air due to a technical issue. The aircraft underwent checks before continuing its journey and landing in Imphal later than scheduled.

Another IndiGo flight from Delhi to Goa faced an engine failure mid-air and was diverted to Mumbai for a safe landing. Various other incidents of technical problems on flights have been reported in recent months.
